Howard Benn
Our second Soundbites on Zoom was another great success with a good mix of regular and new poets reading their work.
Our headliner poet was Howard Benn who treated us to a wide ranging selection of his poetry. The reading included the first reading of a new poem War Of The Roses.
Howard is a Leeds-based poet. He has been writing poetry for the last ten years, and has appeared in several publications and anthologies, including the Yaffle Prize, Otley Word Press, and most recently the Electrifying Women Project. He has read many times at both the Headingley and Ilkley Litfests. Howard regularly reads at Leeds Word Club, and is a member of the Soundbites team.
