SOUNDBITES in Zoom (June 2021)

For those who missed the June  Soundbites and for those who’d just love to see it again, here’s our guest poet Nabeela Ahmed. Thanks so much to Nabeela, the open mic poets and our wonderful audience for another marvellous Soundbites – we really can’t do it without you!

Nabeela is a writer, poet, story teller and spoken word artist. Her poetry is in three languages: English, Urdu and Pahari. She has shared her work at Open Mic events across Yorkshire and has been the Headline Act at various venues. She self-published her book, Despite our Differences, in 2018 and it is available on Amazon. Nabeela was the main feature for Keighley Arts and Film Festival this year, her poetry manuscript was longlisted by Verve Poetry Press and her work has been published in several anthologies and publications in three languages in England, America, Pakistan and India. She is currently working on her novel, collection of short stories and always her poetry.
